JOB CRITERIA

We are looking for skilled and dedicated Site Manager to join our growing team. As a Site Manager, you will be an integral part of our project teams and ensure our projects are delivered safely and to a high standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Site Supervisor/Site Manager, day-to-day responsibilities will include (not exhaustive):

  • Complying with safety regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Handling construction materials
  • Shuttering
  • Concreting works (mixing and/or pouring)
  • Laying kerbs and channels
  • Reporting all accidents/incidents/near misses
  • Promptly notifying the Site Supervisor of any delays or issues
  • Working closely with the project team to ensure the project is delivered efficiently
  • Operating machinery and power tools
  • Excavating trenches
  • Steel fixing
  • Laying drainage pipes, pavements and manhole covers
  • General labouring duties
  • Completing tasks as directed by the Site Supervisor
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are in good working order and reporting any defects found
Qualifications
  • CSCS and/or CPCS cards
  • A strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • A strong track record working as a Groundworker in civil engineering

The following certifications are desirable:

  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Streetworks Operative
  • First Aid at Work
  • Plant above and below 10te
  • Manual Handling
  • Slinger/Signaller
  • CAT and Genny
